🏃Fast Kids Academy

Build confidence. Build coordination. Build the foundation for lifelong athletic success.

Fast Kids Academy is a Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) program for young athletes age 8 - 12. We mix games and general fitness to create a fun environment that builds faster, more resilient athletes.

This isn’t about running laps or wearing kids out.
It’s about teaching them how to move well, stay safe, build confidence, and develop the athletic skills they’ll use for every sport — now and in the future.

Youth Testing & Progress Tracking

Because parents deserve to see real progress.

Every 8–12 weeks, youth athletes participate in our Mini Combine, which includes:

  • Speed mechanics check
  • Jump & landing assessment
  • Coordination & agility review
  • Movement quality evaluation

Parents receive simple, clear updates on:

  • What their child is improving
  • What they’re ready for next
  • How they’re progressing through the AHP system

No guesswork. No confusion. Just measurable development.

The AHP Athlete Pathway

A clear, connected journey from childhood to lifelong athleticism.

Youth → High School

Youth athletes enter high school with:

  • Better mechanics
  • Stronger fundamentals
  • Higher confidence
  • Lower injury risk
  • A smoother transition into performance training

High School → Adult

High school athletes transition into adulthood with:

  • Strong movement habits
  • Joint‑friendly strength
  • Speed and power foundations
  • A lifelong understanding of training

This pathway is what makes AHP different — we don’t train kids for one season.
We train them for long‑term success.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent FAQ — Fast Kids Academy

Please reach us at daryll@athletichealthandperformance.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Fast Kids Academy gives children ages 8–12 the foundation for speed, strength, and coordination in a fun, safe environment. Our evidence‑based approach helps kids develop confidence, athletic skills, and healthy habits that carry over into school sports and everyday life. Parents love that progress is measured and communicated clearly each block.

Each 60‑minute session blends games, drills, and structured training. Sessions are upbeat, age‑appropriate and designed to keep kids engaged while learning. A typical class includes:

  • Warm‑up & movement prep (mobility, balance, coordination)
  • Skill focus (sprint mechanics, jumping, agility)
  • Strength basics (push, pull, squat, hinge with bodyweight or light equipment)
  • Fun conditioning/game play to finish with energy and teamwork

Athletes are grouped by age and ability to ensure safety and appropriate challenge. We use baseline testing (speed, jump, coordination) to place athletes in the right tier. Groups are capped for quality coaching, and adjustments are made if a child progresses faster or needs extra support.

Yes — all sessions are led by certified strength and speed specialists with years of experience in youth development. Coaches emphasize technique, safety, and encouragement. Parents receive progress updates at regular intervals, so you know exactly how your child is improving.
