Athletic Health & Performance helps athletes transition safely and confidently from rehabilitation back to full sport participation. Our Return-to-Play program bridges clinical care and high-performance training with objective gates, sport-specific progressions, and coordinated medical oversight so athletes return stronger, more resilient, and ready to perform
Program Overview

We design and implement a stepwise exercise progression that starts with foundational movement and advances into sport-specific skills, volume, and intensity as the athlete demonstrates readiness

We apply S&C principles to improve work capacity, force production, and tissue tolerance so athletes build resilience and reduce re-injury risk

We recreate sport-like movements in a controlled environment to restore technical timing, decision-making, and confidence while limiting exposure to high-risk loading too early

We use validated performance tests to evaluate agility, strength, power, movement quality, and other functional metrics that guide progressions and return-to-play decisions

We continuously screen for pain, swelling, instability, and other warning signs, adjusting the plan immediately if a setback or compensatory pattern emerges

We work closely with physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other medical professionals to ensure exercise programming aligns with clinical goals and healing timelines
Includes: Intake, medical review, pain/load tolerance screen, movement screen, basic performance battery (speed, jump, strength) and a one-page baseline report with priority deficits and progression gates.
Deliverable: Baseline report and recommended next-step plan
Includes: 12 supervised sessions (2/week) in a mixed clinician model (AT/coach), individualized phase-based programming, weekly load monitoring, mid-program re-test, and final progress report with objective pass/fail gates.
Deliverable: Measurable progression across at least two phases with one formal re-test.
Includes: 24 supervised sessions (3/week), full sensor/video testing (force plate, timing gates, multi-angle video), individualized S&C integration, sport-specific simulation, ongoing clinician-to-clinician coordination, and a detailed exit clearance packet with objective criteria and coach handover.
Deliverable: Full RTP clearance checklist, kinogram snapshots, and a 4‑week maintenance plan.

Duration depends on injury severity, healing status, and sport demands; typical programs run 6–8 weeks from baseline to clearance when medical criteria are met
A licensed clinician or performance lead coordinates the plan and communicates with the athlete’s medical team, with support from S&C coaches and athletic trainers
Medical testing and clinician services may be eligible when prescribed by a physician; we provide documentation to support insurance where applicable
Progressions are reversible; failing a gate prompts regression to the prior safe phase, targeted remediation, and physician consultation if indicated
Please fill out the Baseline Clearance Form below. Afterwards we will schedule the Baseline Clearance to establish objective gates and create a personalized Return-to-Play roadmap. Provide coach and medical contact details so we can align expectations and accelerate a safe, measurable return to sport.
